“Impressions: Interaction vs Isolation” is an investigation of two experimental materials of almost opposite qualities. The eelgrass has been crocheted into a structure that still smells pleasantly of the Sea. Reminiscent of the sounds of waves, it rustles when touched. The felt piece is made out of wool and ceramium tenuicorne. It absorbs sound having an almost isolating quality to it.
